Douglas Design District — Avenue Art Days

Avenue Art Days is a Douglas Design District initiative to revitalize our unique and beautiful district with local artists and volunteers painting light poles to full murals April 29-30. Phase 2 will focus along Douglas between Hydraulic to Grove. 

Sunday, May 1, join us for a community Pathway to Peace chalk walk to see the new artwork, visit with the businesses in the District, and meet others that are just as passionate about Wichita as you!

Start/ finish at East High front lawn for a mural map & DDD Information Table, Food Trucks, Hot Dogs sponsored by Carson Bank, The Workroom #LOVEICT Flag Swag Bus & PopUp Shop, yard games and more for a fun family friendly event!

Volunteers needed for Phase 2 of Avenue Art Days in the Douglas Design District. On April 29-30, dust off your Wichita community pride and join us as we work to revitalize this uniquely beautiful and re-energized district. We will be prepping and painting light poles along Douglas between Hydraulic and Grove. 

Volunteer Opportunities:
FRIDAY
9-1pm (check-in at TBD, lunch provided from TBD)
1-5pm (check-in at TBD, after party at TBD and dinner by TBD)
3-7pm (check-in at The Spice Merchant, after party at Central Standard Brewing and dinner from TBD)

SATURDAY
9-1pm (check-in at TBD, lunch provided from TBD)
1-5pm (check-in at TBD, after party at TBD and dinner from TBD)
